The KH6ERO Weather Station consists of two separate complete weather stations and a weather cam. Our main weather station KH6ERO is installed at our office in Aiea, Hawaii. Our mobile weather station KH6ERO/M is installed on top of our 2012 Ford Econoline E250 Super Duty 3/4-ton Emergency Communications Van which can be deployed with a Skywarn activation to various locations around the island during severe storms to gather on-scene weather readings as the storms cross the island.
The latest data from our KH6ERO/M Mobile Weather Station sensors is shown below and is automatically refreshed. When the Mobile Weather Station is deployed, its location will be updated to show what city it is currently located in and taking readings from.
The KH6ERO/M Mobile Weather Station data is automatically uploaded to the National Weather Service Citizens Weather Observer Program (CWOPS), Ambient Weather, PWS Weather, and Weather Underground.
